Figma Prototype!
Creating a prototype of an app targeted to youths (12 -19) who have taken actionable steps to solving problems of the world today. The app has three main functions of browsing, creating or joining a project. For creating a project, teams are formed based on ‘big themes’ and ‘subsets’ that youths are passionate about, as well as pre-existing connections that they have formed through the app already. For joining a project, this is mainly for youths who aren’t ready to lead and initiate a project yet. Browsing a project provides motivation and inspiration as to how specific steps can be taken to tackle a regional or global issue. Other features like ‘connections’ - similar to those on LinkedIn, going in depth to check project progress for each project, as well as viewing user profiles with a chat function attached- go toward integrating the global youth community as a whole.
